Residential Flood Restoration
A detached family home sustained extensive water damage, primarily affecting the garage and surrounding areas. Flooding resulted from overwhelmed drains, leading to the infiltration of black water, which caused significant damage up to one foot high on the walls, leaving visible tide marks and damaged plaster.
Process:
- Initial Assessment: A comprehensive inspection was conducted to evaluate structural damage and assess indoor air quality.
- Debris Removal: All water-damaged contents were itemized and documented for insurance approval prior to disposal. Stagnant water was extracted, and the structure was thoroughly sanitized and dried using industrial-grade dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Reconstruction: Damaged plaster was removed and replaced. The affected areas were waterproofed again, and the garage was redecorated. We meticulously cleaned the floor grout and performed a final deep clean of the entire garage before project completion.
